Surf Bay – Terms and Conditions
1. General
Surf Bay AB ("Surf Bay", "we", "our", "us") provides travel experiences focused on surf trips and surf camps ("Trips") to various destinations. These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made through our website or otherwise directly with Surf Bay. By booking a Trip, you ("the customer", "you", "your") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Booking and Payment

2.1 By booking a Package Tour you acknowledge that you have read, understand and agree to be bound by these Terms.

2.2 When a booking has been submitted to Surf Bay, Surf Bay will send you a Booking Confirmation immediately after pressing the “confirm” button in the booking system. The booking is binding upon both parties only when such Booking Confirmation has been sent to you.
3. Cancellations and Changes
By You:

Cancellations must be made in writing via email to [info@surfbaysthlm.com].
If cancelled within 15 days of booking, the full amount will be refunded.
If cancelled up to 30 days before departure, 50% of the trip cost will be charged.
If cancelled later than 14 days before departure, the full amount will be charged.
Name changes are accepted up to 7 days before departure.
By Surf Bay:

We reserve the right to cancel or make significant changes to a Trip in case of force majeure (natural disasters, political unrest, etc.) or insufficient participant numbers.

In such cases, you will be offered an alternative Trip, a credit note, or a full refund.
4. Insurance
It is a condition of participation that all guests have valid personal travel insurance covering medical expenses, personal liability, and trip cancellation. Surf Bay does not provide insurance.
5. Responsibilities of Participants

You must comply with local laws and respect local customs and surf etiquette.

Surf Bay reserves the right to terminate the participation of any guest who behaves in a way that endangers themselves, others, or the environment, without refund.

You acknowledge the risks associated with surfing and other activities arranged by Surf Bay and participate voluntarily.
6. Health and Fitness Requirements
You are responsible for ensuring that you are physically fit and capable of participating in the activities you book. Any pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed to Surf Bay at the time of booking.
7. Liability

Surf Bay is not liable for any injury, illness, accident, death, loss, damage, delay, or inconvenience caused during your participation in any activities organized by Surf Bay, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

You participate in all activities at your own risk.

Surf Bay is also not responsible for any third-party services or events beyond our control (including but not limited to weather conditions, transportation, accommodation, or acts of nature).

Surf Bay’s liability, if any, is limited to the amount you have paid for the Trip.
8. Images and Marketing
By participating in a Surf Bay Trip, you grant permission for Surf Bay to use images and videos taken during the Trip for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear in such materials, you must inform us in writing before the Trip begins

9. Personal Data
We collect and process your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Swedish law. Any disputes will be settled in Swedish courts.
